Back in March, I was honored to be named Somerville’s Artist of the Month. The irony was that when I received the news, not only was not currently in Somerville (I was actually on a cycling vacation with friends in Mallorca, a trip I very nearly almost didn’t make it back from and honestly, might not have been disappointed had that were the case), but I also no longer resided in Somerville.
My studio is and has been there for a long time though (at Washington Street, a place I’ve held increasingly dear in the many months of quarantine), and will always be happy to have called Somerville home for as long as I did.
Immaterial opens tonight! Earnestly, I've worked super hard on this show and I'm proud of it and I'm really looking forward to finally sharing it.
Washington Street Art, TONIGHT, 7-10 pm.
